Due to my car still having the original 25 year old plastic radiator, I decided to replace it with a new all metal 3 core radiator. The plastic one was known to "explode" over time as the plastic would dry out, making for a very messy situation. I figured since I needed to gain access to this area of the car to take care of some frame rust issues, I might as well replace it now. It was a fun job removing it, as usual just about all of the bolts were seized, despite my feeble attempts with pentrating oil. I also was forced to drop the sway bar to allow room for the fans to come out with the radiator and condensor as a single unit. After removal of the old radiator I found that is didn't appear to be in too bad of shape, so I might be able to recoup some money by selling it.
